Organisation

AGS has a nationwide presence supported by a network of experts operating as close as possible to local economic areas. Its 270 employees are spread across the national headquarters and 15 centres located in mainland France and the overseas territories.

This network makes it possible to work closely with companies in difficulty, to rely on recognised legal, economic and social expertise, to ensure a structured system for monitoring expenditure and combating fraud, and to affirm AGS’s role as a committed economic and social partner.

General direction

Overall management of the institution

Define the strategy and monitore its implementation
Ensure uniform management accross the organisation
Monitore by means of budgetary management and tracking the outcome of AGS missions
Technical advice and support with legal issues and establishment of the AGS strategy
Liaison with AGS bodies

Dialogue with all the players and stakeholders in its environment

• Cooperation with national partners
• Consultation with public authorities
• Raising awareness among those involved in insolvency proceedings
• Providing information, with the production of legal publications and the dissemination of exclusive statistical data

Les Centres AGS

The mission of the CGEA centers is to ensure the operational delivery of AGS’s core responsibilities—advances, recoveries, fraud prevention, and litigation—which primarily include:

Providing court-appointed insolvency practitioners with the funds required to settle employee claims;
Defending the interests of the wage guarantee scheme in legal proceedings;
Optimizing the recovery of the amounts advanced by AGS;
Representing AGS to all stakeholders involved in supporting companies in financial distress.
