AGS’s commitment goes beyond resolving individual crises: we cultivate a collective approach, with employer solidarity at the heart of our mission.

AGS is a unique private player in the business world: financed by an employer contribution, our actions reflect an advanced sense of social responsibility, serving the common interests and the long-term future of the economic fabric. We firmly believe that through its active support and decisive intervention, AGS contributes to the recovery of companies in difficulty and, where appropriate, to supporting their employees in the context of insolvency proceedings.

AGS therefore operates at the intersection of three worlds: insolvency proceedings, employment and social protection.

AGS is driven by six strong commitments

In addition to its purpose, which is fundamentally based on supporting the general interest, AGS has put in place an internal approach to structuring and ensuring continuous improvement in terms of compliance, performance, respect for the environment and solidarity

1. Service commitments

Guarantee employees rapid payment of outstanding debts, within the legal deadlines: on average, AGS releases funds within 48 hours of receiving the application (compared with several months in other European countries)
Help to stabilise weakened businesses and safeguard jobs, by facilitating the conditions for their recovery.
Offer a high-quality service, with the highest guarantee ceiling in the world and various types of claims: not only wages, but also redundancy payments, paid leave, etc.
Payment of social contributions: AGS not only pays a sum to beneficiaries but also contributes to maintaining their social entitlements by paying contributions for pensions, social security, etc.

2. The fight against fraud

AGS advances the funds needed to pay employee claims in insolvency proceedings. It is the guarantor of the regulated funds entrusted to it and of fair payment to salaried beneficiaries.
Combating fraud means helping to protect a Guarantee Scheme that is unrivalled in the world, protects employees and is a valuable tool for helping businesses to bounce back.
To ensure fair and equitable access to the wage guarantee, AGS has been committed to fraud prevention since 2005.
To this end, it draws on a regional network of fraud experts spread across the 15 AGS Centres (CGEA) covering the whole of France, and on a national Anti-Fraud Department that coordinates and steers the system.

3. Compliance and setting an example: a corporate commitment

As part of its commitment to transparency, AGS aims to be a leading player in compliance, risk management, GDPR, cybersecurity, public procurement, and much more.

4. The AGS Campus: a commitment to training

Aware of the challenges relating to skills transfer and professionalisation within its ecosystem, AGS has created the AGS Campus, a free programme dedicated to training:

For students, particularly those studying law (ALED Masters, employment law, etc.),
For professionals, be they chartered accountants, presidents of commercial courts, administrators or judicial representatives, etc.
To strengthen the fight against fraud, via specialised modules such as MICAF to help secure procedures.

5. The AGS Observatory: an indicator for the benefit of the economy

The AGS Observatory provides real-time data for a detailed analysis of business failures in France, the types of business affected and the sectors involved.

As such, it provides in-depth insight into economic trends, enabling us to anticipate future challenges.

6. CSR impact: a corporate CSR approach

AGS is structuring its CSR approach and working to reduce its carbon footprint in a spirit of sobriety, supported by all its employees. An ecogroup, composed of around ten volunteers based throughout France, puts forward initiatives along these lines every year. At the same time, a group of around 15 solidarity leads also undertakes local and national initiatives every year.

In addition to these internal and external actions, the entire corporate culture, supported by the HR policy, is geared towards CSR.
