Since its creation, AGS (Association pour la Gestion du Régime de Garantie des Créances Salariales) has played a key role in supporting companies in difficulty and their employees during insolvency proceedings. AGS acts as a social shock absorber, guaranteeing the payment of wages and benefits when the employer is no longer able to do so. As a key player in the business failure ecosystem, AGS continues to evolve to meet the needs of employees and businesses in difficulty.

AGS’s mission is to guarantee the payment of wage claims as quickly as possible and to support companies and employees during insolvency proceedings, in order to maintain business activity and the company’s viability, and protect jobs.

Governance & Management
AGS is governed by a Board of Directors composed of 20 representatives of employers’ organisations, responsible for taking key strategic decisions.
On a day-to-day basis, AGS is managed by a Chief Executive Officer, supported by all the division and department directors who make up the Management Committee.
Our geographical presence
Present throughout France, AGS Management and Study Centres form a local network in contact with the various parties involved in insolvency proceedings, guaranteeing harmonised treatment and coordinated action at the national level.
